Sunset over the Gulf at Manasota Key

Bridget Hale was a nurse for fifteen years before she bought the old marine supply building on the Harborwalk. “I wanted a place where the shift change crowd could land,” she says. “Somewhere you do not have to explain yourself.”

The tap list rotates through Florida breweries, with at least two pours from within an hour of the deck. The menu fits on one page. The playlist belongs to whoever is working.

Why the Thursday crowd shows up

Harbor Light is also the home base for BONG, the local business owners night that skips the name tags and brings in comedians instead. “People come for the jokes and leave with a plumber,” Bridget laughs.
